Hi Ida, You are not alone with taking 10 mg of Prednisone! It's so discouraging, but at least there is some help for us. Where is your pain? I've got it in the back of my neck, and in my right elbow, and left foot and some of my fingers. These symptoms showed up a few months ago, and they are hard to get under control even at 10 mg of Prednisone. I'm not feeling as well as I did last fall and winter on 7.5 mg of Prednisone. That is why my rheumy put me on Methotrexate. This is my third week of it, and so far, there isn't much difference in pain, and the fatigue is terrible! It takes about two months for the Methotrexate to do it's thing, so I'll have to be patient. I see my rheumy again in November too. It will be interesting to hear what your doctor thinks should be done, Ida. Good luck to you, and I am glad the 10 mg is helping you! Post soon! Shar
