Hi Ida, It's great to hear from you, too. I'm sorry the doctor doesn't know what you may have. That has to be frustrating for you. At least he is going to run some tests to see what treatment may be needed. Did he hint at what he thinks you may have? Have your symptoms changed since you first got sick? Maybe it started out as PMR, as mine did, but then changed to something else. I ended up with rheumatoid arthritis about a year after the PMR began. I have had headaches as a side effect of the sulfasalazine, so I have stopped taking it. I see my doctor in 2 weeks, so it will be interesting to hear what he suggests. He will be retiring in a couple of months, and I am sad to see him go. He has assured me that his replacement is very good and caring, but I will miss him. He has been great!
