Hi Shar- I hope you and your foot are feeling better. How are your bone densitity tests? I guess you must be very discouraged with another setback, but I hope you feel better otherwise. I am still on 8 mg of Prednisone, but the initial effects have worn off and I am again fatigued. However- I went to another internist and he is positive I do not have Lyme Disease, but that very clearly I have PMR. He took me off Lipitor for a while to see if the aches will lessen without it. As for the five-six years I have PMR- another doctor said everyone gets diseases differently- eg not everyone has an allergy the same way. I guess it's the same with PMR. I know what you mean about the weight gain. I have gained 45 pounds and have just about nothing left in my old size. (I saved a few things, I don't know why.)
