Hi Shar- Glad to hear from you. I have heard that Mobic helped some people who were taken off Vioxx. How are you now? I have a new name for these diseases- Roller Coaster. I thought I was doing very well and went down to 6 mg. of Prednisone. After about a week of that, I ended up in the emergency room. Terrible pain and terrible fatigue- I really couldn't stand it. Thankfully, nothing new or more serious was wrong. The ER doctor conferred with my doctor and I was put on 20 mg of Prednisone, and taken off the new antibiotic and one of the old ones. I am now on only Penicillin and the others- prednisone, Vit. D, protonix, Darvocet, Actenol and Lipitor. It's been a week and I am beginning to feel better. It's terrible what the side effects of these medicines do. but I guess if it really helps we have to take some bad with the good. How are you coping with the cold weather? Does it affect you?
