Hi Shar- How are you feeling now? Are you still on 17.5 mg of prednisone and has it helped? My doctor told me to begin a 9/8mg taper again. It's been about a week and the pain has started, but not as bad as last time. He is also keeping me on the two antibiotics. After 10 weeks on the second one, my sedrate went down to normal, so he is continuing the same treatment. Also after taking the two antibiotics the fatigue is not so bad. As for Lyme disease, I am not sure, but I think it can mimic symptoms of several diseases. (All my tests for Lyme were negative?) I think I have learned to live with whatever this is (PMR or Lyme)and plan my activities around it. I am praying for the day when we both can be off the prednisone and the other medications.
