Hi Ida, How are you? It's good that you are able to keep your Prednisone lower than 10mg. I have read that a dose of 10mg or less is not too dangerous. I recently had to go up to 12mg because of a painful flare. I am now tapering at 11mg/12mg every other day. I have an appointment with the infusion doctor in just over a week. I may then be put on Orencia infusions, if this doctor feels that I am a good candidate for them. It is a little scary, but we do what we have to do, I guess. Have the doctors figured out what you may have besides PMR? I hope that they get the right treatment going for you. I have you in my thoughts and prayers, Ida. Take good care. Shar
