Hi Shar- It's great to hear from you. I was happy to hear that your eye exam was OK. I think this Prednisone taper thing is an ongoing affair. I have been up and down so many times in the last five years. I am now on 10/9 mg alternate days. Until this week when I started on the 10/9 I felt OK, but now I can feel the 9mg, much more pain. When I was sick in January, my doctor had me on 20 mg; what a difference. The treatment for Lyme disease is antibiotics and a variety of them. I was on Penicillin for a year, along with another antibiotic. I think Lyme dusease is supposed to be curable, but can cause many different symptoms that mimic other illnesses. I see my Rheumatologist next month- good luck with your visit. Maybe with the warmer weather we will all feel better. Keep well, best wishes, Ida
