I thought after all this time I would be truly thru with the prednisone. But no - I'm on lmg every other day -- my body is aching everywhere but I have claudication in my legs (so that hurts when I walk), pain in the upper arms, and now the blood tests are indicating a possible adrenal insufficiency due to long term use of prednisone. Have an appt with endocrinology the end of the month for some adrenal tests to see if it is possible Cushings. (Result of long term prednisone use). Last year as you recall I had a quadruple bypass, two abdominal aortic aneurysm surgeryies,a January hospitalization for shortness of breath so now honestly, when I tell a doctor I "hurt" I don't know really what I am conveying. My Sed rate has been normal for several months so my rheumy and i seem to feel the PRM is long gone. I'm almost tempted to up the prednisone to 5mg for a couple of days and see if the body pain disappears. It just seems that you try to take care of one condition and something else pops up - like dandilions. Anyway - I still read your posts and hope you are doing ok. Kay
