Hi Shar- Glad hear from you and pleased that you do not have to have surgery. Things heal differently with RA meds and I guess it is best to take things slow. How long will you stay on 10.5 mg of Prednisone? I am down to the dreaded 5 mg daily and will stay on it until I see my rheumatologist in a few weeks. This is the 5th day and until now, felt OK. But today I have a lot of pain, but not as much fatigue, so that is an improvement. All in all, I think there has been a change and I do not have PMR anymore, but just the side effects of the meds and the six years of little or no physical activity. I hope you will continue to improve and can soon be off all these medicines. Best wishes to get better soon. Ida
