Hi Ida, It's great to hear from you. How is your recent taper going? How long does it usually take you to find out if it is going to work? I have found it to take almost a month, and that is frustrating. I hate to waste so much time and energy on a failed taper, but that seems to be how it works for me. The Kineret isn't working for me yet. I am in a lot of pain and I am discouraged. I called my doctor, and he said to give it a couple more weeks. If I don't improve, then he will put me back on Enbrel. Enbrel has helped me more than I realized, but not enough to get me off of Prednisone. I am back on Methotrexate, per my doctor's orders, and that may help with the Prednisone taper. I am still on 10mg of the Pred at this time. I hope your holiday was great.
