Hi Shar- Great to hear from you. Glad to hear that you have been able to taper your Prednisone to 15mg. Hope you can keep it at that level without side effects. I think you are right about the antibiotics causing the sweats. I didn't connect it, but the sweats and hot flashes started about the same time I started the antibiotics. I have to take Biactin for a year, and am on my 15th injection of Penicillin L/A, with five to go. Not sure for how much longer after that. I see both my internist and Rheumatologist in three weeks. Congratulations on your new granddaughter- and your other three grandchildren. We have two granddaughters. They live 11 car hours away, but we do see them a couple times a year. Sometimes I babysit, but travel by plane. Hope you continue to improve. Maybe by the end of the summer we'll feel well enough to run a marathon. (I never did before). Hope you continue to improve.
