Hi Ida, By now, you are on 9mg of Prednisone. How are you feeling? Does it take you about a week to begin to feel better after a taper? I think I have been tapering too fast. The next time, I will taper much more slowly. My doctor thought that putting me on Humira might make it easier for me to taper my Prednisone, but I am having side effects with it, and I am actually feeling more pain and stiffness on it too. Also, the benefits seem to wear off way before the next injection is due. I am going to ask my doctor to put me back on Enbrel, and I then once my body readjusts to it, I will do a very slow Prednisone taper. It's good to hear from you, Ida.
