Hi Ida, I didn't see your post until now. I don't know why I was emailed about it, because I always like communicating with you. I am interested in learning more about your symptoms that resemble Lyme Disease. How interesting that your doctor thinks you may have that, instead of PMR. It also says something that your sister has PMR. I have heard that autoimmune diseases run in families. How is your taper on the Prednisone going? I haven't been able to do anything with my medicines, since I came down with the flu the week before Christmas. It was very bad and I was very sick. I had to stop my Humira and MTX. I am just now beginning to feel better. I'm sure that the suppression of my immune system from being on Prednisone for 3 years didn't help, and also, the other RA meds, Humira and MTX also put my immune system at risk. It's a no win situation if we get sick and we are on these serious medicines. What a wake up call. I have been doing my best to avoid sick people, but I can't stay away from my family, and I don't want to. Let me know how you are doing, Ida.
