Dear Mum concerned about headlice, Our daughter had recurring infestations at one school. She was thought to be dirty but it turned out that her best friend whom she sat with was the source & her mum was the district nurse who inspected the school. My wife also is a nurse. We used a lot of medication even kerosene in desperation & burnt our lungs from the fumes. Recently have learned OLIVE OIL or conditioner is a good thing to use as it drowns the lice. The thing you would have to watch would be for eggs which may hatch at another time. Best wishes.
