Cats don't transmit lice. Fleas, yes. Lice are transmitted from human to human. They are usually found in loose dirt. She going to school? There is probadly your answer. Or a friend she spends alot of time with or a sitter? Make sure you wash all the bedding in your house and vaccum regularly and treat yourself with the medication. Make sure you advise the school, her friends, your family. Anyone she spends a great deal of time with and don't let her go to these places until you are sure they have taken the necessary precautions.
