this is the 3rd time i have posted this, but i am desperate here. i was in a car wreck 1 1/2 years ago and hurt my back horribly. the MRIs i have had (2) both say i have a normal lumbar, but hernations at c5-c7 in my neck. the problem is in my lumbar, i am in excruciating pain there and it travels down both legs. i walk on a cane now. i have been told by a few doctors that i have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, but i don't buy that. my psychiatrist said its not in my head, but rather in my back. i am going crazy knowing i am hurting so bad and no one seems to care!!! i have very stiff legs and walk similar to a "robot" i guess? its like my legs won't bend when i walk. the pain is a burning/aching sensation in the center of my lumbar and travels thru my butt down both legs down to my ankles. i am wondering if anyone out there has heard of a back injury causing walking abnormalities. please, if you know anyone who had this or know where i can find more information about my illness, please write me.
