I am a physical therapist. Usually pain and burning down the buttocks and into the leg are caused my pressure on the sciatic nerve. It can cause walking abnormalities. Having herniations in the neck can affect the whole back. It might have put pressure on the sciatic nerve by causing an abnormal muscle imbalance from compensation from pain from your neck or it could be a completely different injury. Good luck.
