Gall Bladder Surgery/Pain/Common Duct

I had the same thing happen to me , I had my sugery many years ago and i was shocked when all was said and done , there it was the unbearable attacks ,...... just as if i never had the darn surgery...... well i told my doctor , he said i should still be wary of eatting fatty foods etc.. i noticed the foods that gave me the pain/attacks after the surgery were foods like bagels, and donuts, so i had to refrain from eating those types of baked goods for years to come...... which really did shock me, I mean after all i DID have the surgery..... never knew what foods were going to give me the attacks , in my case it was mostly store bought cakes etc.,like from the super market, boxed donuts etc. there must be something in the shortening they use, or maybe it was something else , they did a have tendency to be greasy ......... many many years later the attacks slowly but surely were gone and i could eat everything, every now and then some of those same types of foods till today may give me a burn in my stomach, mind u i was never a big eater of those foods in the first place .. thank goodness , in conclusion I have to watch my cholesterol , the gall bladder is no longer there to help flush the fat out of the system.....i hope I shed some light ..))) . good luck
