There could be a few different causes. I myself started with these symptoms for awhile before I became ill with fibromyalgia and CFIDS. There are certain medications that will help the problem. Medications like Valium, Xanax, and others do help dizziness. I went months feeling very ill with dizziness and neck pain before I got a diagnosis. Nothing showed on my MRI or other tests either. Also, Meniere's (not sure of spelling) Disease causes dizziness. BUT, tell you doctor to prescribed something for the dizziness. You are the patient and have a right to request help for the symptom (s) even without a definitive diagnosis.
