Corisone Injection for Plantar Fasciitis

Joan Kelly

Message 8 of 17 Previous Next

I also had plantar fasciitis a few years ago. I was advised by a podiatrist to wear flat shoes and to insert an arch support. It took about a year but the pain has now gone. I supplemented this treatment with 'Difflam' cream if the pain was severe. If I wear high heels for an extended period of time, the pain tends to recur, so I stick to flatties as much as possible. I would only go for the cortisone injection as a last resort.
