Corisone Injection for Plantar Fasciitis

NatureL

Message 13 of 17 Previous Next

I've had cortisone injections, though not in the foot. Yes, they're painful and not like a regular injection where the needle is inserted and then removed right away. I had a cortisone shot for tendinitis in my shoulder...no problems there again. However, got a shot in between my toes for a problem whose name escapes me but the shot did not help and yes, it hurt but was worth it to at least try for some relief without surgery. I suppose that's why your Dr. is opting for the shot first...to avoid surgery. Hope you feel better.
