I had genital warts about 12 years ago. Dr. first tried removing them by freezing them, then he treated them with some kind of medication, finally he surgically removed them and they have not reappeared. There were several. Some were rather deep. I was under the impression that they are not something that is caught from another person, but that some people are just prone to get them just like any other kind of warts. A diet rich in vitamin A is suppose to help prevent reoccurance of warts.
