I just want to make sure you realize that HPV(genital warts)can be spread whether the warts are present or not. This is something that you will have in your system for the rest of your life. Although my gynecologist told me that they think 1/3 of cases may be healed by the body, but there's no way to know if you are one of those people. I have been celibate ever since I was diagnosed 10 years ago and have not had a flare up, but I was told that if I have sexual relations again the warts could come back. I have dated, but the couple of times I was in a serious relationship I would tell my partner about the HPV and that ended the relationships. When you find that very special person who understands remember that you are very lucky. I wish you a bright future.
