Don't be scared but be knowledgeable. First, know they are contagious so unti you have gotten rid of them, don't engage in sex with your significant other. He should be checked & treated, too. I had these a long time ago and they "cauterized" (a type of burning off) them. Does not hurt, don't worry. Today I'm sure there are more efficient ways to heal them. Please see your GYN immediately for treatment options. I would highly recommend you learn all you can about these. Be SURE to have a yearly pap exam, too. Don't worry, once your treatment is complete, and the warts are gone, you'll feel better. Again, don't allow sex with your SO unless HE gets treatment, too! Good luck and let me know how you do.
