Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Social Security and Disabilty Payments

I have not been able to work for the past 5 years. First because of disc and hip problems and now because of Fibro and EDS. The hip was replaced and the disc repaired through physical therapy, steroid shots and medications. I am still on restrictions for my hip replacement. Now my doctors are wondering why I haven't been collecting Social Security or any form of disablity. I am listed as handicapped by them and the state. An application for Social Security Benifits some 4 years ago was denied for reasons still not understandable. Does anyone know what or where I should go to get more information? My Doctors say I am entitled to compensation. I am still not able to work and going through extensive therapy again for the Fibro, EDS and a Limb shortage.
