Include copies of medical expenses before illness and after. I used my tax records to show this. It proved a decrease in income and increase in medical expenses. I also included a couple of very thorough but brief medical abstacts to familiarize the administative law judge with the condition. Keep accurate records and photocopy everything, s.s. always loses, misplaces or claims to never receive paperwork. Initially turned down then i appealed with an attorney and won with the above information included in my records along with the medical. good luck. donna
