Hi. My name is Sherrece and I was diagnosed with IC in 1997. I have been suffering from this dibilitating disease for all of my life. I am now 24 years old. My daughter whom is 21 months has also been diagnosed with IC. I think the catheter treatments you are talking about are the BCG treatments. I have had them twice and I have had minimal results. I am now on atarax. I take 30mg at night. I don't get up as much depending on my symptoms or flare-ups but they put me in a really deep sleep. Thats' the only thing I don't like about it. We have a support group here in Oklahoma but I have difficulty participating due to my daughter's health problems. I do pray each day and from my experiences prayer changes things. I have come a long way. I pray each day that God allows me another day. Well I hope to here from you. P.S. You're diet also plays a big part in your symptoms.
