When I say I can manage, I can now sleep without too much pain. Before I could not lie down without pain. Yesterday I walked about 3 blocks. Then I had to sit and my husband got the car to retrieve me. But since I work at home, I don't have to be terribly mobile. I sure would love to play tennis again someday though. We are going on a trip by plane, and I will need to ask for a wheelchair since I cannot walk the long corridors. But I am so much better than I was, I am grateful for every little improvement. I have not figured out any way to exercise except isometrics and have gained 20 pounds. Not just from lack of exercise, but from eating too many "comfort" foods while feeling sorry for myself! Any exercise ideas anyone?
