I had this too, quite painful and inhibiting. I had physical therapy, which helped to start the healing process. But I had to continue the exercises on my own and be watchful of my activities. I still have an occasional spell of discomfort. The doctor said that with this treatment, it would take 3-5 years to heal. But if I had surgery it would take 3-5 years to heal. I waited it out. He was right. Do modify your behaviors. Repetitive motions and vibrations can hurt. Use cold compresses when it flares - helps reduce the inflammation. Wear the over the counter arm band for tennis elbow. Get some recomended exercises from a Doctor and PT if you can. Even now, (seven years later)if I am anticipating being in an activity that will aggravate me - I wear the arm bands that support my arms and it does help prevent reccurrences. It will recur if you are not careful. But you can be active again. Good luck
