I just wanted to say that my husband has emphysema too.He smoked for a long time, the last time he had a spell with this he couldn't breathe! He sat up in bed and I could hear all of the stuff in his chest! I thought i would take him to the hospital, but of course he wouldn't go! I then found out from a friend about herbs and he used them for several weeks, he has not had another problem since! The information came from the book " Back To Eden" There were several herbs that he used, I mixed them for him and made a tea. They don't taste the greatest but they WORK! He hasn't smoked now for over 15 years. Barbara
