Visit a neurologist who also specialises in pain. There are medications for migraines, such as Maxalt tabs, DHE IV injections, and even Ativan tabs help. There are others too. There are meds that help with muscle pain such as Robaxin IV injections. Toridol IV medication is used for joint pain. I know because I have fibromyalgia from a MVA and suffer from muscle, joint, and migraine pain. I see a neuroligst who specialises in pain. The IV meds are given with a syringe directly into the vein for me once a week, except the DHE. That is a PRN med., it is just adm. when needed. I have been seeing him for two years now. I also take morphine every day and flexaril tabs for pain. I just read an article in a nursing magasine that said a person is more likly to have kidney or liver damage from taking tylenol or asprin every day rather than morphine. Also, morphine is not addicting like most people think and say. Something is addicting when you psycologically become addicted to it by taking more pills and more pills over a period of time or keep increasing the dose more and more over a period of time. Write back and good luck.
