Good luck w/y hives. I have a major outbreak every 2-3 years. I take (pardon the spelling) hydroxizine-up to 200 mgs per day, 1 allegra, zertex, or Clariton, and prescription Zantac for excess acid production in the stomach during these episodes. Good luck, these do not cure my hives but keeps them somewhate under control. Beware the meds do make you tired. P.S. I also take over the counter antihistimines during these episodes--if needed.
