I find that when I regularly take multi vitamins, a good calcium pill, about 600-1000 mg dose per day, and vitamins c and e and garlic, and potassium pill, my aches and pains are fewer and easier to tolerate, after these vitamins and minerals get built up in your system for awhile--may take 2-3 months of daily doses. Pain is the body's way of telling you you need some more of some type of nutrient if there is no direct cause for the pain (at least that is what I have found). My shoulder used to hurt regularly and especially after a night's sleep with my arm curled up around my head, but after some trial, I found when I kept up on vitamins and mineral supplements, no pain, but if I got lazy and forgot to take the vitamins for awhile, the pain returned. Might at least try it out to see if it helps you.
