Not sure if this will help but...have you ever heard of myofascial pain syndrome? You should look it up as this is what I was just recently diagnosed with after having tennis elbow's. From what I have read about this syndrome it mentioned pain involving the jaw along with many other area's. The pain travels or it can be localized. Mine is regional at this point. It is in my left arm, elbow, upper arm, shoulder, upper left back and is currently traveling to the right side of back to under my right breast. Myofascial is a connective tissue that cover's our muscle's etc..it harden's and tighten's which cause's pain. They say that deep massage (hurt's after but does get better)stretching and a very low dose of an anti-depressant helps. It is a team effort to cure it. After massage I am real achy but then I am relieved. I would look this up to see if it relates to your problem. Good Luck! Cathy
