i have had this unrelenting disease for 5 yrs.i live in florida but i lived in pa. when i was diagnosed.i went to the university of pa.pain clinic where i had verry good dr.'s.the treatments are painfull,and sometimes they don't work.the meds.are hard to get used to but necessary.ask about a bier block.they worked for me for a while.all treatments for me were a temporary solution for a perminate problem.now the dr.that i have is trying a spinal cord stimulator.we'll see if it works.they might tell you that it's all in your head.IT'S NOT.take the meds.,try the treatments,there's no other way and i know about the frustration,pain and depression.be sure to get treated for the depression or it will just get worse.sorry so long,but needed to explain.GOOD LUCK.
