Please try L-Lysine, it's an Amino-acid. My mother had fever blisters for a long time and started taking L-Lysine and it helped her. She got me to try it too. I had fever blisters too often and canker sores in my mouth, making it so miserable to try to eat. Since I have been taking an L-Lysine tablet once a day, I hardly ever have a fever blister or canker sore. Incidently, no doctor or dentist has ever mentioned this rememdy to us either.
