Hi jenifer, I really feel for you. I've had mouth ulcers for only 2 years (since brain tumor surgery) Like you, I've gone to every type of Dr. and pain clinic. I've also tried all sorts of stuff on my own (i.e. medicine for coldsores, camphophenique etc). A few weeks ago I was once again looking through my medicine cabinet and came upon a almost empty bottle of tea tree oil (100% pure from Australia - found in health food stores) and lo and behold... the sores were gone in about 5 days! If you use too much or let it sit on the sore for too long it can make it burn and swell more but, I find if I dry off the area first and dab it lightly with a Q-tip it works best. (try not to swallow any of it)I know that's what helped me because when I ran out , the sore started reappearing 2 days later. I sure hope this helps you. -Laurie-
