the fact that she could have a whipple is hopeful. i believe that she should seek treatment. quality of life is very subjective. i've had radiation and am receiving chemo now on inoperable(nonresectable) pancreatic cancer. i want to do and explore and take advantage of all possible treatments, so far what i have experienced has been manageable in the way of side effects. i am only 45 y.o. please encourage her to explore her options.
