Please go ahead and seek treatment. My husband was recently diagnosed and is in a clinical trial. So far he's doing well. She could have months or years of life ahead of her. Not everyone dies though you will get that impression from what you find on the web sites. I personally know two people who have lived 10 years and others who have 1, 2, 3 years of good quality life. Don't let her give up now! It's way too soon in the game.
