Recurrent Strep Throat infections

You evidently have an extremely low resistance to this particular strain of bacteria, which is probably aided by a low-level virus that is weakening your body also, so that the antibiotics aren't succeeding totally! You must build up your body, if you can afford it, even if it takes borrowing from family and friends! . 1. Buy Multivitamins, preferably Maxi-life CoQ10 by Twinlabs. You'll need the CoQ10 in it for your heart, which the bacteria have endangered (the valves, particularly) and other things. The other vitamins are all going to be needed for many reasons! #2. You must take as many antioxidants as you can to destroy as many "free radicals" as possible, as your body evidently built up a load of these dangerous over-oxidized, ionized particles somehow. So you must buy: a. Vit. C, 1000 mg.,capsules (2 per meal,3X/day)(1/meal btwn.infections) b. Vit. E, 200 IU, increased to 400 IU after 2 wks. (assuming you don't have Hi Blood pressure)[I should know your age 1st for all this stuff.][This Vit. E is in addition to the 400 IU already in the "Maxilife CoQ10" above.] c. Echinacea capsules (and lozenges during infection) - 200 mg., 5X/day [after meals, btwn. lunch and sup., and about 1 hr. before bedtime.] d. S.O.D. (Superoxide Dismutase) - as directed on bottle. e. ZINC picolonate (Zinc-mins by Twinlab preferred), 30 mg., 2X/da. +COPPER (w/Zinc), 2 mg., 2X/day. [Both taken together at meals when you don't take 2 of the 4 recommended Maxilife CoQ10's after one meal, preferably breakfast.] . I could recommend more, but I don't know your age, other problems, etc. . Also, if you still have your tonsils, they must be removed; I waited too long and had to finally have mine removed at 25! That's late! . Check with your doctor re the above; he shouldn't object, but may think the above is too trivial or too over-done! Believe me, the above (and more) is well proven, by many, many people, including myself, and I've been a General Health Consultant to many friends and relatives. Doctors respect my knowledge1 . Good luck!! . Mel Zeisler, of Forest Hills, NY
