I have a 3 year old son who was recently (April 2001) diagnosed by a pediatric neurologsist as having mild dyspraxia. He has been in speech therapy since Halloween 2000 and has done wonderfully. The neurologist seems to think that he will "outgrow" this tremor he has in his hands without therapy. With all that I have read through this forum though, I worry about other issues like behavior and education/learning. He didn't even address that in our meeting and I didn't have enough info to ask more educated questions of him at the time. I am afraid that we will get lost in the "system" w/o enough info OR getting assistance will be a constant uphill battle. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. By the way, we are also dealing with vision problems at this stage of the game as well. Thanks a lot.
