My name is Rosalie...I have had this disease for over 5 years...really 6 but the at first I thought I was just working to hard..etc..I hope your momma is one of the lucky ones and there are some...who do not develope it as serious as other...however I am not in that group....I went to Mayo's Clinic 5 times before I was finally given a name to my disorder...since I had a lot of other blood results that tended to confuse the situation a little...I am on preidzone...have been down to a mainteance leave of 10mg. a day several times...but it seem to me this disease has a mind of its own....I am now having a very hard time...am on 60 mg. of it a day now...Until I finally found this on the net...which by the way was just a few days ago...I was always so healthy and active...but I just make myself stay postive as much as I can the support of family is very important..it sounds like your momma has that...I am only 58 but I see by looking at this page there are a lot younger than me and it is rare.
