I work in a school, where we do lice checks every week. This may not help re-infection, but it's a lot easier on the hair and also a lot cheaper... Instead ;of buying chemicals for the hair, buy olive oil. Put it all over the hair and leave it in for a couple of hours. This kills the nits. Then to get the oil out use Dawn liquid soap, and then rinse. It does not damage the hair and scalps like the harsh chemicals they sell in the store.
