Dear Mr. Freeman; I would hope that you seek a Dr. that has some experience treating this condition, as my Wife and I have seen numerous that have little clue. We have been blessed with finding Dr. Keith Javery here in Grand Rapids, MI. Perhaps you might find someone in your area through his practice. To all of you who suffer with this, I offer my prayers. We may have an understanding of health rivaling any time in history, but we have not conquered the wiring of our bodies, and the mysteries of such as yet. My wife has had good success with RF Oblation (rhizotomy) of the nerves causing her pain, and she has regained her walking ability through each of her four procedeures. The nerves do grow back though, and the difficulties return. However, this can be done again...indefinately as we are told. Her most recent was on 9-26-01, and she is walking already, with some difficulty. God Bless us all.
