I am one of the lucky ones. I had RSD in my left hand 13 years ago from an injury. Was treated shortly after the accident and seemed to be healed. Now 5 months ago I had major surgery on the right hand and the monster came back in that hand. My hand was in a cast for 5 weeks so was not treated as soon. I go to a great pain clinic in Loma Linda, CA and have been on Neurontin and a tens electrical stimulator since March. I am happy to say that except for the fingers being a little stiff, the pain is gone. I can use my hand for most every thing and I am back to playing the organ. I just wanted to tell you that there is hope !!!
