I just want to reply on the message which you said that your husband and son has sickle trait, and it is only found is African Americans. That statement is not true. Throughout the world in North, South American, Europe and the near and middle Eastern Countries. Portuguese, Spanish, French, Corsicans, Sardinians, Sicilians, Mainland Italians, Greeks, Turks and Cypriots have Sickle Cell Diease and Sickle Cell Trait.
