I was recently diagnosed with systemic scleroderma. The doctors started me on Procardia XL and Vioxx and a few other meds. My hands and feet are purple and painful no matter if its warm or cold outside. I recently lost my boyfriend of three years do to my recent diagnosis and the fact that he cant handle me being sick. I have two teenage children, and lost my job for being sick all the time. Not sure why people say we should be thankful and that it could be worse, cause right now I dont feel too thankful.. Susan
