Susan, I read your message about how terrible your scleroderma is. There must be varying degrees. The rheumatologist I saw didn't put me on any drugs. He told me to wear warm layered clothing over my upper body to force warm blood into my extremities. This with the fact that I take one aspirin every morning does seem to have helped my over the last several years. I had been suffering with the cold hands and feet since the mid 70's. However, I am very interested in the vitamin and mineral answers to some health problems. With scleroderma I am particularly interested in Vitamins C and E and potassium and zinc. The natural food sources would be good but sometimes we don't get enough and we need to take supplements. A very good book I found about vitamins is "Vitamins, Herbs, Minerals and Supplements, The Complete Guide" by H. Winter Griffith, M.D. It has alot of information on food sources and daily dosages. If you suffer from energy loss the potassium found in bananas and gatorade are very helpful. Don't know if this is helpful. I know some cases of scleroderma are worse than others and so far I'm still working and leading a fairly normal life. Best wishes, Evelyn
