HI, I had surgery last Nov27,99. The difficult part was deciding as I had no pains just the thought of the worsening when I get older . The surgery is not painful. Post op the pain was also minimal. Esp. since you will be anesthetic at the back till about 8 mons. You can lie on your back and side after ward and move around soon after of course yu will need help to movwe around the first month is the most difficult so have someo who will help care for you.
