one doc. to me it was in my head, but then said stress can cause this. he recom. peroxide rinse. but my dentist told me it is a carcinogen. damn it i use it anyways, no choice. only time situation was better is when i was on couse of antibiotics, probably killed the bacteria on my tongue. i use a scraper also. i'm sure post-nasal drip is the cause. went to allergists said it was allergies and stop eating pretty well everything known to mankind. trying acupunture. half way through treatment, and still no results except stress feeling is substantially reduced and headaches after 4 treatments.
